...by Anne Morrow Lindbergh.
Read this some time ago and loved it...just reread it and got an entirely different impression...didn't like it as much. I think it is meant for the younger woman. Reading this stuff at my stage in relationships and dreams and discoveries just didn't interest me. Is that a 'been-there-done-that' perspective? I hope I'm not that jaded. It's a nice little book.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a bowl of whipped cream in the other, my 1935 Pooh Bear and a good book tucked under my arms, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
